Overlooking Bali Hai, the rock spire at the head of the Hanalei Bay which inspired the haunting song in the musical South Pacific, the Aston Hanalei Bay soothes guests with the sounds of its two waterfalls and access to the calm waters of Hanalei Bay just down the hill. The hotel occupies 16 three-story buildings on the western edge of an enormous property with staircases providing access to upper floors. All 250 guestrooms include air-conditioning, lanais with views, refrigerators, rattan furnishings, and telephones with modem/data port hookups. Facilities include a health-beauty-fitness spa and the Prince Golf Course Clubhouse a mile away, two on-site swimming pools with an upper pool featuring waterfalls, an open-air Jacuzzi, and its very own sandy beach for kids to enjoy and the lower pool more conventional, eight plexi-paved tennis courts, pro shop, the Bali Hai Restaurant specializing in Pacific Rim cuisine made from fresh island ingredients, and the Happy Talk Lounge featuring live Hawaiin music and happy hour specials.
