Established in 1965, the resort offers 125 Polynesian-style thatched-roof bungalows and is situated around lagoons and white beaches and black lava rock. The Kona Village Resort is situated on 82 oceanfront acres and built on the site of an ancient Waikoloa fishing village, with lava fields on one side and white sands on the other.
